basket full of Chili ready for the 22nd Annual Chili Cook Off

The time has come again, my friends, that I will be heading downtown to judge the annual chili cook off, something I look forward to every fall. The weather is usually starting to get miserable and it’s time for comfort food!

This year there’s been a few changes, the event will be held downtown in Winston Churchill square outside in heated tents. This is a lovely change, in my opinion, since it did become fairly crowded inside the Scotia Centre during the cook off. River City Roundup is now in charge of the event and it’s sure to be a great time! Music, chili to taste, what more could you ask for?

So head on down to the Square from 11:30 a.m. ā€“ 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 2, taste a bunch of chili made by a wide variety of Edmonton cooks, chefs and organizations!

See you there!
