Brown and Christmas tree lego

Peeps, you get short and sweet today. Day 6 has me baking up a storm in my kitchen.  Specifically around 10 dozen buttertarts and 30 mincemeat, frozen now to give out for my Christmas gifts as usual.

As I look out at the big, fluffy snow, I realize that I better leave a good 10 minutes early to go get the kids from school this afternoon. And I hope it doesn’t take me until 530 to get home again, like the last time I saw this big, fluffy snow outside.

I hope everyone’s getting their baking, shopping and assorted Christmas activities done! I am so glad to have the kids back at school and get into our routine.December is not the time for my routine to get interrupted, that’s for sure.  Any more of that and I’m going to start having panic attacks in the middle of the night.

“Tis the season to be short of breath and panicky!

Love,

Mmmm. Buttertarts. Magpie.
