This time Edmonton’s finest restaurants are making their best version of noodles! Nine amazing local restaurants are coming in to serve you, the public, their competing pasta dishes at a mere Toonie a Taste!

Edmonton’s Popular Food Competition and Fundraiser is back for its third year!
Edmonton, AB, March 5, 2014– One of last year’s most successful Edmonton Food events; the Culinary Arts Cook-off; which pits Edmonton’s chefs against one another in a contest to produce the best dish, is back for its third year.
Hosted by City TV Breakfast Television’s Ryan Jesperson, this one of a kind event will feature top celebrity judges from around the city as they taste and choose the city’s best pasta from a host of amazing competitors. The brainchild of Edmonton food blogger, Karlynn Johnston (The Kitchen Magpie), the cook off features awards for People’s Choice, Judges Choice and Kids Choice awards. Now in its third year, the theme for this year’s cook off is Noodles and Doodles.
The 2014 competition is slated to be held at Mount Royal School at 11303 55 street in Edmonton on March 15, 2014 between 11am and 2:30pm.
Edmonton’s top chefs will be pitted against one another in a competition to make and present the best pasta in the city. With options for all tastes, this is an event that definitely shouldn’t be missed.

Samples of these delicacies will be available at family friendly prices of $2 per sample.
Judging these dishes will be a host of local food celebrities Liane Faulder, food writer for the Edmonton Journal and the Eat My Words Blog, Phil Wilson the local food blogger at Baconhound.com, Valerie Lugonja from ACanadianFoodie.com, Chef Stanley Townsend, the head of the Culinary Arts Program at NAIT and Jennie Marshall the leader of YELP Edmonton.
Some other unique offerings for this event include both silent and live auctions, a photo booth for fun pictures, children’s artwork for sale and live music.
This family centric event will include additional activities such as crafts in the Family Fun Zone offered by Mount Royal’s Little Einstein’s day care. Proceeds will benefit Mount Royal’s Parent Advisory Council who provide funds for activities and events integral to the Arts Core Programming for the school.
