If you want an easy cookie to make for Easter or even a birthday party, these are some of the best and easiest out there.
Why I Think You’ll Love This Recipe
- These cookies are popular due to how fast and easy they are to make, you just need a box of cake mix and a couple of additional ingredients.
- This is a GREAT last minute panic recipe that happens to be adorable with the rainbow colors, something that kids and adults alike love.
How to Make Rainbow Bit Cake Mix Cookies
These cookies need three simple ingredients:
- A box of Rainbow Bit Cake Mix
- Milk
- Eggs
Combine the three ingredients in a mixing bowl, scoop out the dough, place it on cookie sheets, chill, and bake. It’s that easy!
Freezing the Cookies
To store these cookies, you can place them into a freezer-safe container with a lid and freeze for up to 3 months.
You can also prep the dough in advance if desired (see my instructions in my chocolate chip cookies recipe for freezing cookie dough and cookies).
Why use Cake Mix?
What makes these Rainbow Bit Cake Mix Cookies so handy is how quickly they can be made. Taking something simple like cake mix, which most people have hanging around, and being able to whip together some cookies in about 20 minutes make these an easy and quick cheater recipe for times when you have unexpected guests coming or you just need a quick dessert for friends or family.’
I love this hack and highly recommend these as they are super simple and tasty.
Happy baking, everyone! I hope you like them!
Love you more than chocolate,
Karlynn
