It’s time to bring the White Russian back with a modern update of chocolate vodka, Bailey’s and some whipped cream! This recipe is for one, so double/triple the recipe accordingly for your needs.
How to Make a White Russian
A standard White Russian is pretty straight forward and easy to make. If you’ve never made one before, you only need three ingredients: Vodka, Kahlua and some cream.
Which cream to use?
For a White Russian, you need to use a heavy cream such as table cream or coffee cream. 18% or more is recommended.
These, combined together in a glass and stirred with ice, make up a standard White Russian and while it’s a great drink on it’s own, I feel like adding some additional flavor makes for a fun new tasting cocktail.
Now it’s time to make our variation, pictured below.
The Bailey’s Chocolate White Russian
For this spin on the traditional drink, you’ll need to substitue the Kahlua for Bailey’s Irish cream (or another brand) and normal vodka for chocolate vodka. Once you have these ingredients, measure them out according to the recipe card below and you’ll be on your way to enjoying this delicious drink. If you are making one for a friend, simply double the portions.
Other Delicious Vodka Cocktails
I hope you enjoy this fun spin on the classic! It’s delicious and makes for a great dessert cocktail for dinners with friends or family.
Enjoy!
