This Steak n ‘Egg Bacon Asparagus Nests is a great way to use up leftover steak from the night before. Tender Asparagus wrapped in bacon and baked with steak and a freshly cooked egg placed on top makes for an amazing breakfast.
Steak and Egg Bacon Asparagus Nests
These little beauties are a leftover meal, believe it or not. I had leftover asparagus and steak from the night before and I wanted to come up with something a little more innovative than steak n’ eggs. Now, this is not something you eat every morning but most likely a Sunday morning brunch food that you make because you had steak on Saturday night.
Karlynn’s Tip
Make a great sauce like my Blender Hollandaise or even my Garlic Butter Sauce to pour overtop to add even more flavor!
Ingredients Needed
This is an easy breakfast made from last night’s dinner. Easy to throw together for a filling breakfast.
- steamed asparagus
- bacon
- poached eggs
- leftover Steak
These are definitely a perfect Sunday brunch food. You can top it with a Hollandaise if you want, my Blender Hollandaise is the best AND the easiest ever.
Happy cooking everyone!
Love,
Karlynn

Steak n’ Egg Bacon Asparagus Nests
Ingredients
- 8 asparagus (steamed)
- 4 pieces of bacon
- 4 poached eggs
- 1 leftover cooked steak
Instructions
- To make the nests, lay two pieces of cooked asparagus side by side then lay another two pieces at the end, so that you have a length of asparagus that is two pieces long and two pieces wide.
- Then take a piece of bacon and wrap it around them, making a circle. The bacon will stretch out – and it should be stretched out- and will cover the asparagus nicely.
- Tuck the ends under to keep them from coming loose. It takes a little practice but by the second one I knew what I was doing. Then place two more asparagus in the middle.
- Place in the oven at 350 degrees and baked until the bacon is cooked.=, around 15 minutes.
- Remove and plate.
- Top with leftover steak – cold or warm- and a poached or fried egg, making sure there’s lots of yolk!
