GIFTS MADE EASY!

Every Christmas season is the time for me to pick the companies that I truly enjoy working with and I am always so lucky that I get to choose companies whose products I love or that have stores that I really do shop at. This is always so important to me; if I don’t shop there in real life, how can I honestly write about products for you guys?  So when the chance came to team up with Shoppers Drug Mart, I knew it would be a good pairing for this Christmas season.

I am completely a secret Shoppers Drug Mart shopper and I use the word “secret” because I depend on that store for emergency, last-minute shopping. I pick up my celebration cards (birthdays, last minute snacks for the kids, all our medications, vitamins and so much more.)  It might help that we have one only three minutes away, so you can imagine how often I am in there, in panic mode, getting last minute gifts.

You don’t even want to know how many presents I have wrapped in the car on the way to birthday parties after stopping by Shoppers Drug Mart and grabbing something.

I can’t believe I just confessed that to you. That’s one of my biggest, darkest secrets when it comes to how unorganized I am sometimes.

I also love browsing their cosmetics section since they carry my favourite line of make-up from Urban Decay. Since I can’t live without their eye shadow primer potion, it’s nice to be able to grab it from a store three minutes away from me.

I was intrigued to see what new things were coming up for the Christmas season since I also live at Shoppers Drug Mart during the holidays, again, because it’s close to my house and I am a last-minute panic shopper.

So, this year:

Shoppers Drug Mart created an online shopping destination that lets you choose from hundreds of gift ideas, all sortable by price, category and type of person you’re buying for. I will get into some of my fun choices for kids toys later on in this post. You can be sure that there will be fabulous choices for The Entertainer in the house (that would be me, picking up last minute party snacks for sure) and the Modern Man (that would be Mike, who could be getting the Gillette ProGlide Holiday Pack from me in his stocking, isn’t that romantic?). The Acer 8” Tablet. Oh yes, we are a technology family, that’s for sure but we are also a road tripping, almost constantly travelling family. We have been thinking of getting my daughter a tablet of her own for the road and in all honesty, I don’t think she needs an iPad. This tablet would do the trick! To be honest, I am tired of lending her my iPad since I want to play Plants vs Zombies myself when we travel.

 

For my nephew who just went as a Ninja for Halloween, this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Combat gear would be perfect!

Last but not least, this adorable Disney Frozen Olaf is perfect for any little girl on my list.
