Jars with Toasted Oats Muesli on Yogurt with blueberries and raspberries

I’m sure by now that you’ve all read my post on how amazing the new New Nature Valleyā„¢ Protein Soft Baked Granola Bites are and you have entered the contest for your chance to win a $50 Visa Gift card. If not, head on over there after you finish reading this post and check it out!

The second part of my series on breakfast’s in my house using Nature Valley products is all about muesli.

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last posted about our busy mornings and I’ve now resigned myself to the fact that the entire school year is going to be busy. My cookbook photos may be done, but I’m entering the realm of rewrites. My website has never been busier and the hours in the day have never been shorter. I am ever so grateful that Mike works at home as well, that the kids new school is only 5 minutes away and that I am as blessed as I am to be working from home.

However, mornings are my nemesis and shall remain so forever.

The newest product that I was sent to try out is the Nature Valleyā„¢ Toasted Oats Muesli. The two flavors that I have are the blueberry and original flavor.

Again, this is something that the kids and I can eat in the mornings without a lot of fuss. Our favorite way is to sprinkle it on top of yogurt, add some sliced fruit and voila, a protein and fruit packed breakfast that took a couple of minutes to prepare. If we are really in a hurry, then we have it with cold or hot milk.

Again, I love how high these are in protein since I have two kids who aren’t the biggest meat eaters on earth. Did I mention that they also don’t love eggs that much anymore? Exactly. What is a mom supposed to feed them in the mornings for protein? Sigh.

If you have a hankering to try these out, there is a coupon available right now. Our favorite flavor is the Nature Valley Muesli in the blueberry flavor, but if you are a cranberry lover you’ll love the Original.

If you want to learn more about the products you can visit the Nature Valley website, check out their Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram as well.ā€‹
