Lemon Whipped Cream

This lemon whipped cream was what I used for my shortcake recipe instead of plain whipped cream. It turned out so yummy, but of course what isn't made better with lemon?

Lemon Whipped Cream in Pyrex blue bowl garnish with small fresh leaves

This lemon whipped cream is perfect to top anything that matches lemon! You have a few choices, you can use lemon zest in it to make a really lemony whipped cream, or if you prefer it smooth you can just use lemon juice.

How to Make Lemon Whipped Cream

  • Take your whipping cream and start whipping it in your mixer. Add in the sugar, zest, and lastly the lemon juice.
  • Whip until it forms soft peaks. If you want you can refrigerate it for 2-3 hours before serving.
  • This is amazing on fresh strawberries, scones, and anything you can pair with whipped cream!

Happy baking!
