I’m tired and it’s been a long, long weekend full of fun mixed with stress with a dash of vehicular break-downage thrown into the mix. But we are home, safe and sound with the kids snoring in their beds and myself relaxing with a late supper of pepperoni pizza that was definitely not made by me but rather only took the effort of dialing a few numbers.

And of course, I have pictures to post and stories to tell.

Not that anyone was waiting with bated breath, but I like to pressure myself. Set goals and all that jazz.

I’ve posted of the Saskatoon Farm before and what a delight it is to visit it, and this time was no exception. I had a lovely time picking around there with my sister and of course, purchasing a few items.

Not this one, as beautiful as it was.

It is completely not my zone and rather large for me to keep in the house without my rugrats annihilating it when my back is turned.

I take pictures of labels because I have no memory.

Oh and this, so beautiful and twisted.

Kinda like me.

The twisted part, that is.

Again, not my zone. Why do I love the pretties that don’t love my Alberta climate?

Ah nothing like a wagon full of geraniums.

And those small roosters that want to fly at and peck small children.

I don’t blame them sometimes.

Those little people can have such shifty eyes and evil intentions.

My gaRDEN is FULL of succlents. Exactly like your first picture.
But what was entirely scarey to me, is the sign with plants being able to live in-20 to -29 degrees zones?
    Terrible.

Did you bring a rooster home to keep the Princess in line?

Seriously. Why don’t you call me with these great ideas? Humph. And the city won’t allow roosters, only hens if there is ever approval. I don’t suppose I can train them?
