The cool and rainy weather might have sucked for long weekend camping, but my plants have never been greener.

You know, I am not a teddy bear person, but I love this bear. Perhaps it’s because he’s reading a book, I am not sure why but I am attached to him. I have the most eclectic taste ever. I also have garden fairies and puppies. The puppy statue I can do without but of course my daughter adores them, so they stay.

But he looks so cute nestled among my lilies.

Hurray for saskatoons! Finally! I WILL HAVE BERRIES!

As long as I keep the birds away. No sharing, I have been waiting far too long for these berries.

I am also very pleased that at least one of my $10 bare root saskatoons from the Saskatoon Farm will also have berries this year! Perhaps there will be one or two more….

The only color in the flowerbeds right now, my gorgeous globeflowers. The irises are getting close, but so far this is it.
