Why I Think You’ll Love These Cookies!
Ingredients Needed
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup (softened) butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 package of SKOR Toffee Bits
Kick the tires and light the fires to 350 degrees.
I had a helper for these cookies, a helper who loves cookies more than any other food in the world, I think. Her favorite thing to do is bake cookies with Mommy.
Then taste test them, of course.
Put the butter and sugars into your mixer and whip them until they are fluffy.
Make sure your daughter’s nose doesn’t get caught in the mixer. She loves to “smell” the batter and tell me how yummy it smells.
Add in the eggs and vanilla and whip them again until they are fluffy.
Mix in the flour/baking soda/salt until well combined.
Add in the toffee bits (try not to eat them all before they hit the batter, it’s hard, I know) and combine them.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto a well-greased cookie sheet and pop it into that 350-degree oven.
The toffee bits like to stick to the sheets, just warning you.
Bake for 9-11 minutes until they are lightly browned, then let them cool on the sheets. Then you have to take a flipper to get them off if they have stuck to the sheets.
They are worth the effort.
Toffee Bit Cookies
Ingredients

Instructions

- Mix in the flour/baking soda/salt until well combined.

Yah, I was out of parchment paper, which is a must have in my house for cookies! And of course, I run out making the stickiest cookies ever. I need some of those silicon sheets.

I use the silicon baking sheets on my cookie sheets and I really like them. Nothing sticks and they are easy to wash & store. I only use the silicon muffin tins I have now too- washing the metal ones is such a pain! Then again, I don’t have a dishwasher š
