It was brought to my attention earlier that Liane Faulder of the Edmonton Journal wrote a little snippet about yours truly online today, so I had to give a shout out to her and say “thanks!”.

The description was lovely:

A reader has been in touch with me to pass on info about one of his favourite local bloggers, Karlynn Johnston. She runs a site called www.thekitchenmagpie.com.

“What makes is unique is that she is not your typical blogger,” writes the reader. “She shows people how to live country style in the city. She has a gardening section where she shows people how to grow various vegetables as well.”
