A simple cocktail that’s almost too easy to drink, the Washington Apple is a mix of apple whisky, apple schnapps (such as Sour Puss) and cranberry juice.

How to Make a Washington Apple

This drink is pretty basic so making it is pretty simple as well. Add the apple whiskey, sour apple schnapps and cranberry juice into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a coupe-style glass and serve with a slice of apple as your garnish.

Variations

This can also be mixed up by substituting the Apple Schnapps (in this case, Sour Puss) with a different type of Apple liqueur such as Apple brandy, etc.

Serve it as a shot!

This is also quite popular when served as a shot. To do this, simply reduce the quantities but maintain the ratios. In this case, a 1/2 ounce of each would work well for a shot style of this drink.

Enjoy Responsibly!
