white plate with perogies, fried bacon and onions, with kolbasa and sauerkraut

My mother’s homemade perogies, smothered in fried bacon and onions, with kolbasa and sauerkraut, with a glass of white wine on the side.

After a long -albeit not very hard working- day at work on the weekend.

Some seriously good Ukrainian eats happening tonight. My Slavic soul has been rejuvenated!

Oh. And I have leftovers for work tomorrow.  Bliss.
