Tall Christmas tree at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

I am so very excited this year to be checking off a Bucket List item, Christmas in November at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge this weekend! Oh my goodness, I have been waiting years to check it out and this year I am being hostedĀ by the Fairmont to come and write, tweet and generally share everything amazing that happens at Christmas in November!

This year Christmas in November has been changed up considerably and I am really glad to see the exciting things that are happening!Ā Christmas in NovemberĀ takes place from Nov. 7 to Nov. 16 at the Jasper Park Lodge andĀ is hosting presenters from the local Edmonton area!

The talented team from RGE Road,Ā Ā  Blair Lebsack and Caitlin Fulton are mid-week presenters this year (I am so sad to miss them!) but luckily I am going to be able to attend the Tres Carnales session this weekend!

Now, do you all want to know the most important part of all?

This momma is going alone!

I will be attending this weekend for three whole evenings and days…by myself.

No kids to put to bed, no one waking me up at 1 am, 2 am and 4 am because she saw a picture of Freddy Kruger on her dad’s computer and couldn’t sleep all night (oh, he’s a dead man and I hope she pays him back for it ALL WEEKEND while I am gone.Because that’s karma and I am a mean wife, obviously.)

Wine, food, drinks, sessions about food and decorating and meeting all sorts of new people! I can hardly wait I am so excited.

Oh and just for laughs (for you) I am taking a crafty course, how to make a wreath. Be prepared to witness the least crafty person you’ve ever see (me) try to make a wreath. This is how much I love you, to provide comic relief of this caliber.

So while we have gone to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in December and enjoyed how amazing and gorgeous the decor was, I have had Christmas in November on my list for years now.

I think I am going to make a having a hot boozy drink here, by myself (or with adult company) in front of this fireplace, a goal for this weekend. A girl’s gotta have goals, you know.

Oh I am so in love with the Fairmont Jasper Park lodge, it is one of my favorite places in the entire world, no word of a lie. This outdoors girl embraces everything about it.

So watch for tweets, pictures and more this weekend! I will be sharing all the delightful events going on, the food, the drinks, the company I meet!

Is anyone else attending this year? If you want to join, there are still a few spots left, soĀ check it out here!Ā Who wants to join me this year? My only rule is that you don’t wake me up at 2 am, 3 am and 4 am.

Unless of course, it’s because we are still awake, having a great time!

See you at Christmas in November!

Love,

Karlynn
