Aha! It does match the fireplace, just not the way we were guessing. A wagon with wood, plus an axe and stand to hold it in.
We decided that the girl in the Christmas sweater was far more capable of hauling firewood than the guy with the goatee and sweater. Call it typecasting, but he just doesn’t look like the rugged, wood hauling type.
Today, I look out my window and see snow.
Fallen snow.
Falling snow.
And that makes me want to hunker down and bake, which is a good thing. I have to get the tray full of baking ready that I send to the teachers lounge every year for tomorrow so they have all week to enjoy it. I also have to test a few recipes out, such as some hazelnut truffles, Florentine bars and bake up the standard mince meat and butter tarts as well.
Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday morning!

Gorgeous pic of the backyard. I love the snow…. especially on a BLUE SKY day!
