girl lego wearing red sweater and a white cat

Hurray! Day 6 brings us a Lego animal for my daughter, finally! She was also excited that it was a girl figure, and one with a pretty Christmas sweater as well.

I am late with this post, having spent the entire day out and about and that is literal, not figurative. I finished my Christmas shopping this morning, I have been “done” a while save for a few odds and ends.

Then I stocked up on the necessities for my Christmas baking, which involved far too long at Superstore and far too much money being spent as usual.

My Facebook status was as follows and is a good summary:

The Kitchen Magpie literally has about 6 lbs of baking chocolate, 5 lbs of raisins, 4 lbs of candied fruit in various forms, 3 dozen types of nuts, 2 litres of whipping cream and a partridge in a pear tree. I think I am ready for Christmas baking. Maybe.

Yup. It’s a good sum up of my day.
