The newest copy of MumSense is up, (pages 62 and 63) and other than cringing over a few things I would like to change now, I am happy with the final result for the second printing of it.

I am very excited that I was able to showcase the book The Gophers in Farmer Burrow’s Field, which is written by a very talented artist who lives in Spruce Grove of all places! Mere minutes away. As soon as he sent me that delightful book, I knew that I had to feature it.

Runt Farm, The Prometheus Project and How to Hold a Pencil are also less well known books that were sent to me directly and I choose to put in the article, and that reminds me that I should be emailing the authors to let them know. I find it really cool to give them exposure in a magazine!

And speaking of which, I am impatiently waiting for my copies to be sent…Mike printed the sheets out in color for me, but it’s not the same at all. I want to hold the magazine and thrill over it a while. That’s no too much to ask, is it?

Anyways, just thought my parents would like to read my newest article, since that’s the kind of thing parents do. And perhaps a best friend or two thrown in for good measure along with some random relatives, that whole family obligation thing.

And I better get to work on my next one, three books left to write up and only 7 days till deadline. Not so good with this whole deadline thing, and it’s bi-monthly. What would my unorganized self do with a monthly deadline? I cringe to think about it.
