This Sunday Table features photos from last summer, because that’s how I roll. Oh, if you could only see how many photos go unpublished or unedited! I could have an entire new website full of them, I swear!
These were taken at the beginning of summer last year when my Mom and Dad were visiting. I finally got around to buying a patio set that I liked – I’ve been looking for years- and I insisted that we eat outdoors.
Roasted chicken, beer, my Mom’s homemade perogies and nalysnyky (cottage cheese crud filled crepes with dill) graced the table along with my roasted asparagus and beech mushrooms.
Children were excited.
Excited to eat nothing but perogies, of course. Do you see any green on that plate?
Me neither.
Everyone’s plates were filled up with our delicious summer meal. It was time to talk and relax, to catch up with one another.
It was also time for me to take some family photos.
You can see how well that turned out.
Family. You can’t pick them.
Love,
Karlynn
