Golden Grahams has been our camping cereal since the kids were little. I honestly can’t have a box of that cereal in the house, or I would eat it daily. I wanted to create an amazing cereal bar using Golden Grahams that had all of my favorite treats in it. Thus, these Golden Graham, Oreo, and peanut butter cup bars were created!
Easy Golden Graham Bars
These bars are only slightly more complicated than Rice Crispy Squares. You use the same melted butter and marshmallows method, then add the chopped-up sweet treats. These are definitely a cereal bar for the sweet-toothed person!
How to Make These Bars
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat the marshmallows and butter in the microwave, 30 seconds at a time, until melted and smooth.
- Remove from the microwave and stir in the vanilla.
- Let it cool slightly to prevent the chocolate from melting too much, and then stir in the cereal, Oreos, and peanut butter cups.
- Press into the bottom of a well-greased 9×13 pan.
- Let set and then slice to serve!
I can’t be the only person who absolutely cannot have this cereal in my house, right? These and Cinnamon Toast Crunch (I also have a couple of Cinnamon Toast Crunch bars recipe as well!). I have to treat those cereals as desserts, which is probably why I turned both of them into dessert bars instead of eating them for breakfast.
Happy baking! Let me know in the comments below if you made these and what you think!
Love,
Karlynn

We can’t pack anything made with Peanut Butter here (Southern Ontario). Too bad, as it’s an excellent source of protein – for energy. \U0001f641
