Well, it’s all over now that I have figured out how to add alcohol to dessert dips successfully. After much experimenting and taste-testing (the hardships that I endure for my readers!), I have the right proportions and ingredients for a creamy, dreamy dessert dip that has your favorite alcohol in it for parties.

And we will start with my Tipsy Grasshopper Dip because I am a chocolate mint fiend when it comes to desserts!

Tipsy Grasshopper Dessert Dip

The grasshopper cocktail is one of my favorite dessert cocktails, so it made perfect sense to try making a dessert dip with creme de menthe and creme de cacao. The creme de menthe is already green, giving this dessert dip an awesome color without using any extra green dyes.

This is so boozy, minty, and delicious—and your guests are going to be surprised! Make sure this is for adults only!

You Must Use Dairy Milk in This!

You cannot use plant-based milk in this recipe; you need the dairy to react with the Jello pudding, which is designed to bond with the fats and proteins found in milk.

You HAVE to use whole milk as you need all the fats possible, as you are replacing half of the milk with alcohol.

I cannot emphasize this enough: the recipe will not work if you don’t follow it exactly!

How to Make The Snack Sets

You can find a full post on how to make the snack sets you see in these pictures here: Dollar Store Snack Sets. They are, honestly, one of my new obsessions. I love how easy they are and how cute they look when serving up delicious treats to my guests.

How to Make My Tipsy Grasshopper Dip

To prepare this delicious dessert dip, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Add the two types of liqueur alongside the milk and pudding mix into a bowl and beat until smooth.
  2. Add in the whipped topping and mix.
  3. Place into your serving dish, top with mint chocolate or oreo pieces, and serve.

Delicious Dessert Dips!

Follow the directions and use the proper amounts of ingredients, or it won’t set! This will last in the fridge for 2-3 days ( I have tested it!). Just make sure that you cover it with plastic wrap so that it doesn’t form a skin on top.

I hope you enjoy it!
