Tres Carnales to Represent at Christmas in November - Man standing smiling beside the kitchen table

I am thrilled beyond words to not only be attending Christmas in November this year at the Fairmont Jasper Park lodge but to be attending a year that Edmonton is truly represented there!

Let’s face it, we are often overlooked here in Edmonton when it comes to culinary talent (for absolutely no good reason at all) Ā so I was tickled pink to see that not only Tres Carnales will be presenting (for the first and third groups of visitors) but also RGE Rd will be entertaining the mid-week visitors as well. Two of the most influential teams in Edmonton food, how amazing is that? I sadly am missing the RGE Rd demo so I haven’t connected with them beforehand, but I sure did pop in to visit the Tres Carnales team to see how they were doing!

Now, I know what Tres Carnales will be whipping up for us at Christmas in November and let me tell you, it’s one amazing treat! I made sure to book my session with them so keep an eye out for tweets and pictures from me this Saturday at 1:30!

When I popped in to Rostizado (the newest venture from the Tres Carnales team) Ā a couple of weeks ago, Danny (the handsome devil pictured above) was so excited about being able to attend that he was literally vibrating with excitement about the chance they have to entertain all of us ladies (and men) for those sessions.

I might have threatened to cat call from the audience, but that didn’t dim his excitement one bit. šŸ˜‰

The Tres Carnales team is thrilled and honored to be chosen to attend, you can tell from talking to Chef Edgar (pictures above) and Danny that they are counting down to the big event and waiting with barely contained excitement. Shall I use the description “like kids at Christmas?” since it is entirely fitting?

I have to say, huge kudos to the team at the Fairmont. I cannot gush enough how fabulous I think it is that teams from Alberta are being featured and not just culinary talent from Toronto or Vancouver, Ā as most people are wont to do. We don’t need all Food Network stars all the time, (though gosh darn it, I am SO excited to see Lynn Crawford!).

I think this year the Fairmont team has perfectly balanced Christmas in November. There is talent from Calgary, Edmonton and those Food Network stars that we love. We are going to be able to connect with food rock stars that we love to watch on TV and meet the movers and shakers in our own towns. Isn’t it just a perfect food lovers Nirvana?

So congrats to both Edmonton teams for being chosen, what an honor it is and congrats on representing Edmonton!

Karlynn
