Welcome to the new site! In case you haven’t noticed, I have completely moved everything over to thethekitchenmagpie.com and country living is no longer my main home. This has been on the back burner for months now but always the main plan. And once I saw how popular my recipes were becoming, I knew that I should just give up and The Kitchen Magpie was born anew.
The picture of my daughter above reflects the past few weeks of working on the site….banging our heads with or on different objects, except we weren’t so lucky to have shiny pink helmets.
I would like to give a massive love-out to my husband, who might not have worked uncomplainingly, but most assuredly he worked diligently, hard, put up with my nagging, ignored my indecisiveness and did a smashing job on this site. I am so in love with it!
And speak of the devil, here he is. Behind those sexy blue eyes lies a computer geek mind that I find far more attractive than his unwillingness to pick up his socks.
But truly, thank you honey for the hours upon hours of work you put into moving everything and creating this beautiful website. You rock.
And to everyone else, it’s all the same stuff, just rearranged! I have been MIA due to working on this site and now the posts will once again pick up pace, especially with spring being here.

Hi Karlynn. Website looks awesome! I love looking and looking and reading and salivating over all these yummy recipes. Your husband is very talented for a computer geek and you should now try for your own TV cooking show. Your sense of humor is totally contagious, that’s why we worked so well together at the U. Miss you and our fun times. Pat
