These whole wheat blueberry muffins are also loaded up with a 9-grain cereal mix for a hearty, healthy start to your day!

Ingredients

whole wheat flour

nine grain cereal

baking powder

salt

brown sugar

fine molasses

apple sauce

cup
milk

teaspoons
vanilla

blueberries
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a 12-well muffin tin and set aside.
Whisk your dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Whisk together your wet ingredients.
Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Mix gently until just combined. Stir in the blueberries until incorporated.
Divide the batter evenly between the muffin wells.
Bake the muffins 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown. Insert a toothpick in the middle of the muffin to test if they are done.
Remove and cool completely. Store in a closed container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Notes
You can use frozen blueberries as well, just defrost on paper towels to absorb the extra moisture and then mix in.
